Mark Kanter joined Del Mar Equity Partners, Inc. in 2005 as a principal and managing director, participating in all acquisitions. Well-established in the commercial mortgage brokerage field, Mark has longstanding relationships with a broad spectrum of lenders, endowing the firm with a high level of financial credibility.
He began his real estate career in 1989 as an investment real estate broker with Marcus & Millichap, specializing in the sale of multi-family and commercial properties. In 1997, Mark and two partners formed Commercial Realty Consultants, Inc. (CRC, Inc.), leading specialists in commercial real estate financing. CRC, Inc. represents buyers and owners of commercial and multi-family residential real estate, obtaining the most desirable financing available for acquisitions and refinances.
An active real estate investor since 1993, with a portfolio that includes apartments, medical office, and retail properties, Mark is also president of MBK Management, Inc., which manages apartment buildings in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. In the early 1990s, he founded Assessment Appeals Group, a consulting firm that represented property owners contesting unfair property tax assessments. Mark holds a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Southern California, with an emphasis in real estate. |
